Heads up on Digital Technologies Hardware Industry representatives will address what is the latest Digi Tech hardware, and what’s coming, case studies of successful DT hardware use in schools and how teachers can best choose DT hardware. DT guru teachers will discuss DT hardware they are using in their school, and how it links to curriculum. They will also talk through strategies to get other teachers involved, how they approach using new hardware and budget approaches. Digital Technologies Resourcing in 2023 - the Latest and the Greatest Video from the Presentation (It will take 20+ sec to load) Slide deck from the Presentation (PPT) (Jointly run by TASITE and ACS) After opening with a brief discussion of the Why of Technologies and Digital Literacy, then best practice selecting and integrating of Technology resources, the seminar will move into the main fare of Showcasing the best and latest technology across major branches of Digital Technologies, with a curriculum overlay. Making your Classroom Autonomous - Robotics Presentation This presentation featured a discussion about best practice running a Robotics presentation in your classroom by Chris Bracken, the latest LEGO Robotics books out of the USA with Tasmanian author Rob Torok and Bronwen Baume-Tarrant discussing FIRST LEGO League in Tasmania. Augmented Reality - Looking beyond the Magic Paul will share how AR is being used in authentic ways in both schools and industry.
